No garment worker killed in Savar: BGMEA
Bangladesh Garment Manufac-turers and Exporters' Association (BGMEA) has contradicted a BDNEWS report published in The Daily Star on page 2 yesterday under the headline 'Garments worker killed in clash with hired cadres of owners'.
In a rejoinder yesterday, the BGMEA dismissed the news of death of a worker of Irish Fashion Limited as a rumour.
"The death of a garment worker, Abu Bakkar, is not true at all. Even no other worker was killed in the Damgora event," it added.
