CCC mayor tells rally
Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury yesterday said Awami League-led 14-party opposition combine will not take part in the general election without the reforms in Election Commission (EC) and caretaker government.
The mayor, who is also the divisional coordinator of 14-party combine, threatened to make the division dysfunctional if the demands are not met.
Mohiuddin was speaking at a rally on the second day of Chittagong divisional road march in Noakhali.

Presided over by Prof Hanif, district AL president, the rally was also addressed by Prof Khairul Anam Selim, Ekramul Karim Chowdhury and Golam Mohiuddin Latu.
The road march starting from Ramgoti of Laxmipur ended at Maizdi Town Hall Square.
