One killed, 20 injured in road accidents
Our correspondent from Mymensingh reports: At least one person was killed and 10 others were injured in a road accident at Hazir Bari area on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Bhaluka upazila here yesterday morning.
Police and locals said the accident took place when a sand-laden truck bound for Dhaka turned turtle when the driver lost control over the steering killing an unidentified man on the spot and injuring 10 others at 7:00am.

The body of the dead was sent to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) morgue for autopsy.
A case was lodged with Bhaluka police station in this regard.
Our correspondent from Rangamati adds: At least ten people were injured, five of them critically when a jeep locally known as Chandergari plunged into roadside ditch after the driver had lost control over the steering on the way to Dighinala from Baghaichhari upazila headquarters yesterday morning.
Md Ali, 25, a critically injured passenger, was admitted to Khagrachhari sadar hospital.
The other injured who were admitted to Baghaichhari upazila health complex are Saki Chakrabarty, 30, Md Yunus Ali, 45, Begum Diljahan, 30, Khalilur Rahman, 40, and Md Shafi Alam.
The rest of the injured were released after they were given first aid, Baghaichhari police said.
