One killed in Gaibandha road accident
One person was killed and six others sustained injuries when a speeding bus hit a rickshaw van at Fasitola on Bogra-Rangpur highway on Friday night.
Police said the Fasitola-bound rickshaw van with six passengers skidded off the road and fell into a ditch at about 9:00pm when a Sayedpur-bound bus hit the van from behind. One person identified as Shahebullah, 60, died on the spot and six others sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to Gobindaganj Hospital.
