Painting exhibition to raise funds for Najifa Taj
A painting exhibition of reputed painters of the country will be held at Gallery Chitrak at House No 21, Road No 4 at Dhanmondi in the city on June 20-23.
The proceeds from the sale of the paintings will be used to raise fund for the ongoing treatment of Najifa Taj, an A level student of Maple Leaf International School who is suffering from a rare form of cancer known as Hodgkin's Lymphoma Nodular Sclerosis Disease and is now undergoing treatment in Bangkok.
Renowned artist Qayyum Chowdhury will inaugurate the exhibition organised by Gallery Chitrak and Try Foundation at 6:00pm today.
