PM offers prayers at Masjidul Haram
Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, now in Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday spent holy night of Qadr through prayers at holy Masjidul Haram in Makkah with millions of Muslim devotees.
She performed Asr, Maghrib, Esha and Tarabi prayers at the holy Kaba Sharif as well as performed Kiamullail prayers in congregation in the holy mosque, according to a message received in Dhaka yesterday.
"The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah on the holy night for overall welfare and progress of the country, its people and the Muslim Ummah," it said.
