Poet Jasimuddin's anniversary of death today

Faridpur district administration, Jasim Uddin Foundation and other organisations have taken programmes to observe the day.

The programmes include laying wreaths at the mazar of poet, recitation of poetry, discussion, milad and doa mahfil.

Jasim Uddin died on March 14 in 1976. He was buried in his family graveyard at Gobindapur village under Ambikapur union at Faridpur Aadar upazila.
