Police attack protested
Crime Reporters' Association of Bangladesh (Crab) yesterday strongly protested the police attack on the journalists while performing professional duty during the Dhaka siege programme in different places of the city.
In a joint statement, Crab President Parvez Khan and General Secretary Arif Rahman said police swooped on the journalists for no reason and hit them with the rifle butts and batons indiscriminately.
The leaders demanded exemplary punishment to the police responsible for the attack.
