President assents to three bills
President Iajuddin Ahmed yesterday assented to three bills passed in the 21st session of the 8th Parliament.
The bills are: National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University Bill, 2006, Village Court Bill, 2006 and Supreme Court Judges (Remuneration and Privileges) (Amendment) Bill, 2006, said an official release.
