President improves further

The nasal feeding tube has been removed and he has now been given food by mouth, said the press secretary to the president quoting the physicians yesterday.

He said the Singaporean Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zainul Abedin Rasheed, once again visited the Mount Elizabeth Hospital yesterday to see Iajuddin Ahmed.

The minister enquired about his health and treatment. The president thanked the minister, the government of Singapore and the doctors and staffs of the hospital for taking good care of him and his family members.
