President, PM greet Muslim leaders on Eid-ul-Fitr

Iajuddin in his message said, "The government and the people of Bangladesh join me in extending to you and through you to the government and people of your country the heart-felt greetings on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr."

He also expressed the hope that this highly auspicious occasion would inspire the Muslim Ummah to work for the glory of our noble faith in the interest of the mankind.

Khaleda in her message said, "It is a matter of immense pleasure for her in conveying warm greetings to the leaders and the people of Muslim countries on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr."

"I pray and hope that this divine occasion will inspire the Ummah to sincerely strive for its continued advancement by strengthening the bonds of existing fraternal ties," she said.

The president and the prime minister also wished for the good health and personal well-being of the heads of the state and government as well as the brotherly peoples of those countries and their continued peace, progress and prosperity.
