Prof Anisuzzaman new IU VC
Prof Dr Anisuzzaman of Philosophy Department of Dhaka University (DU) has been appointed as the Vice-chancellor of Islamic University (IU), says a DU press release.
President and Chancellor of the university Prof Dr Iajuddin Ahmed appointed him as VC for the next four years.
Prof Anis previously served as chairman of Philosophy Department, director of Gobindo Dev Philosophy Research Centre and provost of Sir AF Rahman Hall.
