Programmes to observe birth anniversary of Bangabandhu
Awami League has chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the National Children's Day marking the 87th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman tomorrow.
The programmes included hoisting of national and party flags at party offices across the country, placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu and milad mahfil, discussion and cultural programme in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum.
In Tungipara, Awami League activists will offer 'ziarat' at the mazar of Bangabandhu and hold doa and milad mahfil.

AL General Secretary Abdul Jalil, in a statement, called upon all, irrespective of party affiliation, to observe the day in a befitting manner.
