Property worth Tk 50 lakh gutted in N'ganj

The fire fighters of Narayanganj, Hajiganj, Postagola and Sadarghat Fire Brigade units brought the fire under control after an hour-long struggle.

Fire Brigade sources said the fire originated from a gas generator of the mill at about 3:00pm. The fire spread quickly as huge inflammable materials were kept in the Mill.

The fire fighters had to struggle hard to douse the flame.

Islamia Board Mill authorities said property worth about Tk 50 lakh was gutted in the fire.
