Protect archaeological sites of Panamnagar
Save Panam Citizens' Committee formed a human chain yesterday in front of Narayanganj Press Club demanding protection of three hundred year-old archaeological sites of Panamnagar at Sonargaon in Narayanganj.
The programmme was organised as a reaction to the recent collapse of a building of archaeological importance.
Local political leaders from all parties and members of civil society attended the programmme spontaneously and demanded effective and pragmatic government measures to protect the site.
