'Protect garment workers, save industry'
Five left leaning parties demanded implementation of their seven-point in order to protect the garment workers and save the industry, says a press release.
They placed the demands at a press conference at the Sramik-Krishak Samajbadi party office in the city yesterday.
Their demands include unconditional release of all arrested workers including labour leader Moshrefa Mishu, compensation of Tk 7 lakh to the families of those killed and Tk 1 lakh for those injured and enforcement of 'Industry Law 1965'.
