Punishment to JU JCD men demanded
Left-leaning Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) yesterday demanded immediate arrest and punishment to Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) men who attacked BCU convenor of Jahangirnagar University (JU).
Addressing a rally on the Dhaka University campus, the BCU leaders said though many days have passed since the attack on Rakibul Alam Rusho, they were not arrested.
Rather, the JU authorities are trying to save the JCD cadres, they alleged.

The rally was addressed by BCU General Secretary Shamsul Alam Sazzon, Joly Talukder, Khan Asaduzzaman Masum, and DU unit President Manobendra Deb.
Earlier the BCU brought out a procession.
