Rail strike in eastern zone today
Railway Sramik Karmachhari Sangram Parishad has called a strike for today in the eastern zone.
Enforcement of the strike will disrupt railway communication on 21 routes, including Dhaka, Chittagong and Mymensingh.
The Parishad called the strike to press home its three-point demand, including cancellation of denationalisation policy, formation of a railway board and withdrawal of audit objections, said a press release.
