Rajshahi AL enforces hartal today
Awami League in Rajshahi will enforce a half-day hartal in the district today protesting the police attack on its leader at Savar in Dhaka during the siege programme.
Rajshahi AL and its front organisations called the hartal while demonstrating at Shaheb Bazar Zero point yesterday evening in protest against the attack on Rajshahi AL general secretary AHM Khairuzzaman Liton.
Liton was severely injured and admitted to hospital, said the AL activists.

Later, the demonstrators also staged a rally where AL leader Omar Faruk Chowdhury and Chowdhury Khurshid Bin Alam spoke.
