Rajshahi BNP men threaten to resign en masse
BNP leaders and activists loyal to district BNP President Azizur Rahman in a press conference at Rajshahi Press Club yesterday threatened to resign en masse on January 3 if the nomination of outgoing lawmaker Kabir Hossain is not withdrawn from the same constituency.
In a written statement they alleged Kabir Hossain neither visited the constituency nor did ever try to attain any development scheme for the area.
Bagha thana BNP President Jamal Uddin, General Secretary Saiful Islam, Charghat thana BNP General Secretary Gias Uddin Mandal and other leaders of both thana and municipality BNP attended the press conference.
