Rajuk sues 7 for filling up Gulshan Lake
Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) filed a case against seven people with the Gulshan Police Station under the Wetland Protection Act for filling up the Gulshan-Badda Lake.
Executive Engineer of Rajuk Mohammad Rafiqul Islam filed the case late on Sunday following a report published in The Daily Star on the same day.
The alleged violators of the Wetland Protection Act are-- Dr Tarafder Rabiul Islam, Mohammad Moslehuddin, Mohammad Alamgir Hossain, Haji Abu Sayeed, Mohammad Nurul Haque Chowdhury, Syed Abdul Gafur and Mohammad Asad Mia, duty officer of the police station said.
