Reception to 3 Biranganas

The Foundation organised the programme at Shilpakala Academy in the city on June 12 to mark its 8th founding anniversary, says a press release.

The three Biranganas -- Masuda Khatun, Elejan Nesa and Duljan Nesa -- came from Kushtia district. Writer Selina Hossain, Kona Reza and Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan, handed over crests to them at the programme.

Zafar Ahmed, chairman of Dhaka Mercantile Co-operative Bank, handed over a cheque for Tk 10,000 to each Birangana.
