Removal of 'controversial' RU teacher demanded

Meanwhile, Sager misappropriated admission test duty money by forging the signature of an administration employee of the department.

A probe committee found Sager guilty and suggested taking punitive action against him. But the department did not take any action against him.

At a meeting in front of the central library, BCL leaders strongly protested the move of Pro-Jamaat teachers pressing the law department selection board members to appoint an Islamic Chhatra Shibir activist Shahal Uddin through a fresh selection.

They also threatened to launch a tougher movement against the university authorities if the demand is not met.
