Resist unified education system
Shikkha Andolon Mancho, an association for establishing universal education, called for a movement to resist the unified education system yesterday at a meeting at Arts Faculty of Dhaka University.
Speakers said the implementation of proposed so-called unified education will narrow the opportunity of students to study science and will deprive them from learning higher maths if religion is taught as compulsory.
They demanded immediate withdrawal of the decision of introducing unified education system.
