Restrictions on traffic movement today
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed restrictions on the movement of vehicles on some routes from 5:00am to 7:00am on the Victory Day today for smooth travel of VVIPs, VIPs and other invited guests to the National Mausoleum in Savar.
The DMP has requested the drivers of heavy vehicles, including bus minibus, truck and lorries, to use Dhaka Airport Road-Abdullahpur Crossing-Ashulia route instead of Gabtali-Aminbazar Bridge-Savar Road during the period.
In a press release, the DMP also asked the Dhaka-bound vehicles from Aricha to use Nabinagar Bazar-Ashulia route and those coming from Tangail via Ashulia should use Kaliakoir-Gazipur Chourasta-Tongi route.
