Road accidents kill 2
Our correspondent in Tangail reports: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Mirzapur upazila under the district yesterday.
The victim was identified as Mohammad Mosharaf Hossain, 30, of Balla village in Kalihati upazila.

Police and witnesses said the accident took place when a Tangail bound speeding passenger bus from Dhaka crushed the motorcycle rider, who was on the same direction, under its wheels on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Deohata area in Mirzapur upazila at around 11:00am, leaving Mosharaf dead on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot and took the body to Mirzapur Police Station.
The killer bus, however, managed to flee the scene immediately.
A case was filed with Mirzapur Police Station in this regard.
Our correspondent in Satkhira adds: A youth was killed and two others were injured in a road accident at Alipur area in Sadar upazila on Satkhira-Kaliganj road yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Anisur Rahman, 25, son of Rafiqul Islam of village Baliadanga in sadar upazila.
The injured are Abdus Selim, 22, of village Bahera in Debhata upazila and Tuhin Biswas, 40, of village Basantapur in Sadar upazila.
Quoting local people, police said a truck hit the motorbike of the victim leaving the man dead.
