Road crash kills woman
A woman was killed in a road accident on Thakurgaon-Panchagarh road at Kachubari in the district yesterday noon.
The victim was identified as Khadiza Bewa, 55, wife of late Baize Shekh, of Boguladangi village of Thakurgaon Sadar.
Witnesses and police said a Thakurgaon-bound bus knocked Khadiza down while she was crossing the road at Kachubari at around 2:30pm. She died on the spot.
