Robbery in city

A gang of five robbers entered the residence of Haji Mofazzal Hossain Mamun at around 1:00pm and looted 80 tolas of gold ornaments, Tk one lakh and US$ 100.

Police sources said the gate of the tin-shed building was open and two children and a woman were inside the house at that time.

The robbers tied up the children and threatened the woman with sharp weapons and handmade bomb, they added.
