Rotary Club distributes blankets

This was stated at a meeting of the Club held with Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Gaziul Hasan Khan as the guest speaker at Dhaka Club here yesterday. Chief of the club Rotarian Safina Rahman was in the chair.

Gaziul Hasan Khan urged the Rotarians to highlight their activities through the media so that people get inspired to come forward to undertake philanthropic activities.

The meeting discussed different aspects of various ongoing nationwide projects of the Dhaka Midtown Rotary Club like micro-credit for poverty alleviation, goat-raising, maternity services for poor women, service for the disabled and the blind and production of environment-friendly shopping bags.
