Roundtable on quality teaching
A roundtable on teaching quality improvement (TQI) under the secondary education project (SEP) was held at Bangladesh Open University (BOU) in Gazipur yesterday, says a press release.
BOU Vice-chancellor Prof M Ershadul Bari was in the chair.
He stressed the need for training secondary teachers so that they can impart quality teaching to the students.

A long discussion on quality teaching at the secondary education level and how the related problems could be solved was held at the meeting.
BOU Pro-vice-chancellor Prof M A Razzaque, Project Director of TQI-SEP Md Nazrul Islam, TQI-SEP Specialists Ross Tasker, Patricia Mc Williams and Erik Winther-Schmidth spoke on the occasion.
The registrar, deans, directors and faculty members of the School of Education also took part in the discussion.
