Sacheton Nagorik Committee formed at Savar

Inspired by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), the committee will work towards ensuring transparency and accountability at different governmental and non-governmental organisations.

The committee will also work to curb corruption, establish the rule of law and enhance the quality of service of different service providers through people's participation.

With the inspiration from TIB, 30 such committees were formed at different districts and upazilas and they have been conducting their activities regularly, says a press release.
