Salam joins Shanto- Mariam University as director

Prior to his new assignment, he was the vice-principal of Bangladesh International School in Dhaka.

Lt Col Salam got commission in Army Education Corps in 1976 and served the army in different capacities.

He did his Masters in Bangla from Karachi University and secured First Class First position.

He did another Masters in English from Dhaka International University at the age of 60, and secured Second Class First position.

He is the vice-president of Tangail Association in Dhaka.
