Salam now dy minister for information

Industries Minister Motiur Rahman Nizami will be in the sole charge of the ministry from now on.

Government's sudden move to shift Salam from industries ministry to information ministry came at a time when he has been given the responsibility of resolving the supply and distribution crisis of fertiliser in the country.

As per his new appointment, Salam will now join Information Minister Shamsul Islam at a ministry in which many important posts, including that of the Principal Information Officer, have been vacant for quite a long time.
