Saudi industrialist Gopali calls on Hasina
The meeting discussed bilateral trades specially investment and manpower export and various problems faced by Bangladeshi workers in Saudi Arabia, Jubo League Chairman Jahangir Kabir Nanak said.
Nanak said Saudi trade giant told Hasina that more skilled Bangladeshi workers could work there and he is ready to extend his helping hand but Bangladeshi embassy has plenty to do in this regard.
Gopali sought all out cooperation from the Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina in all respects, including trade and commerce, Nanak added.
Hasina also urged Saudi businessmen to invest in Bangladesh, the Jubo League chairman said.
Jubo League General Secretary Mirza Azam MP, Al Tawah Group director MA Sobhan Hossain Bhuiyan, former ambassador Ziauddin Ahmed and Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agency (BAIRA) vice-chairman Abul Bashar were also present at the meeting.
