Savar students lay siege to power office
Nearly 200 students from different schools and colleges under Savar yesterday laid siege to the local Palli Biddyut office demanding uninterrupted supply of electricity.
Sources said the students staged a demonstration in front of the electricity office led by Savar Awami League President Hasina Doula.
They also chanted slogan "we want to study, ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity."
