SCBA leaders to meet CJ today

The SCBA executive committee led by its president Barrister M Amir-Ul Islam and Secretary Advocate AM Amiuddin will also visit Tungipara in Gopalganj on Saturday to pay homage to father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and offer payers at his mazar.

It was decided at the first meeting of SCBA with Barrister Amir-Ul Islam in the chair.

Barrister Amir, also the convener of Sammilita Ainjibi Samannay Parishad (SASP), told newsmen at his office room yesterday that the Supreme Court lawyers would form a human chain and a meeting in support of their demands for establishing rule of law and justice in the country, and separation of judiciary from the executive on the SCBA premises tomorrow.

"We will discuss on the case management system and development of communications between the annex buildings and the original building of the Supreme Court with the Chief Justice," he said.
