Schoolgirl killed in Sirajganj road accident
A schoolgirl was run over by a speeding bus at Nukali area on Bogra-Nagarbari highway at Shahzadpur upazila in the district yesterday.
The victim was identified as Sawdia Khatun, 8, daughter of Shahin Alam of Nukali village and student of a local school.
Police said, the accident took place at about 11:00am when a Sirajganj-bound speeding bus coming from Pabna run over Sawdia when she was crossing the road leaving her dead on the spot.
