'Shawkat was strong voice against fundamentalism'
Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee expressed deep shock at the death of Barrister Shawkat Ali, a member of its Central Advisory Council.
The committee leaders, in a statement yesterday said that Shawkat Ali was a strong voice against fundamentalism.
The statement was signed by Prof Kabir Chowdhury, KM Sobhan, Advocate Gaziul Haque, Prof Mahfuza Khanom and Advocate Sultana Kamal .
