Six shops gutted in Gazipur
Six shops were gutted at Akmal Market at Board Bazar in Gazipur yesterday.
Fire fighters said the blaze originated at a poultry shop at around 4:30pm following blast of a poultry dressing machine and spread to nearby five others poultry, boarding and pharmacy shops.
No casualty was reported in the fire, which caused a loss of an estimated Tk 12 lakh.
