Six shops gutted in Gazipur
Six shops were gutted in a fire at Akmal Market at Board Bazar on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway here on Friday evening.
Fire service sources said an apparent explosion in a dressing machine of Sathi Broiler House caused the fire.
Soon after the explosion, the fire spread to nearby Zakir Poultry Feed, Moonmoon Traders, Al Hossain Pharmacy, Motaleb Store and another shop.
