SSKOP's 3-hour token strike October 3
Sangbadik Sramik Karmachari Oiky Parishad (SSKOP) will observe a three-hour token work stoppage at all newspapers and agencies from 11:00am to 2:00pm on October 3 demanding trial of the killers of Kamaluddin, a worker of The Daily Ittefaq.
It was decided at a meeting of the SSKOP at the National Press Club in the city yesterday. The meeting also decided to hold a rally in front of the Ittefaq building on the day.
The meeting demanded immediate announcement of 60 percent dearness allowance for the newspapermen in today's meeting of the Sixth Wage Board.
