Stop harassment to agitating people: SCBA
The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) yesterday urged the government to stop harassment and attack on the people agitating for supply of water and electricity at different places in the country.
SCBA Vice-President Advocate ATM Mizanur Rahman and Secretary Advocate AM Aminuddin in a statement also demanded of the government to ensure security to the people.
They strongly condemned and expressed concern over the reported showdown by the ruling party cadres at Demra and threat to people, including their leader Moslehuddin Masud, of the area.
