Students begin protest tomorrow
Chhatra Sangram Parishad, a platform of several student organisations, will launch a series of demonstrations tomorrow to protest the distortion of the history of liberation war and the rise of militancy.
On the first day, the students will stage a protest at Muktangan. The Parishad will demonstrate at different districts on December 29 and hold a rally at Muktangan on January 18.
The Parishad leaders announced their programme at a meeting at the BCL office yesterday. Parishad Coordinator and President of Bangladesh Chhatra Moitri Rafiqul Islam Sujan presided over the meeting.

BCL President Liaqat Shikder, General Secretary Nazrul Islam Babu, Chhatra Moitri General Secretary Muktar Hossain Nahid, Jatiya Chhatra Oikya President Jewel Ahmed Khan, Bangladesh Chhatra Andolon Convenor Kanak Barua and Chhatra Samity Joint Convenor Mostak Ahmed were present at the meeting.
