Students damage DU classrooms for publication of results
Masters students of the Department of Political Science, Dhaka University, broke down windowpanes of seven classrooms at the Arts Building yesterday protesting delay in publication of their honour examination result.
However, agitated students unlocked the five rooms of teachers, which were locked on Tuesday, as Department Chairman Prof AKM Shahidullah assured them that the results would be published on Saturday.
Students broke down windowpanes of two rooms of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, three rooms of the Department of Sociology and two rooms of Political Science Department to press their demand.
