Three gold smugglers held in Khulna
Police arrested three gold smugglers yesterday from city's Hotel Rose Garden at Cemetery Road and recovered five gold bars each weighing two tolas.
The arrestees were identified as Sultan Ahmed, 55 of Shyampur upazila of Dhaka, Ziaur Rahman, 30 of Munshiganj district and Ripon Sarker, 32 of Demra.
Police said the arrestees are members of an organised gang of gold smugglers.
