Three killed in city road accidents
Three people died in separate road accidents that took place in the city on Wednesday night and in the early hours of yesterday.
A human hauler knocked down Md Palash, 30, on Matuail Madrasa road at around 10:00pm on Wednesday. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition, but he died in the morning.
Momtaz Bagum, a 35-year-old woman, was run over by a speeding bus when she was crossing the road in front of Suhrawardy Hospital at around 10:00pm on Wednesday. She succumbed to her injuries at DMCH two hours later.
