Three killed in Comilla road accident
Three people, including a baby, were killed and 20 others injured in a tragic bus accident at Nankara in Chouddagram upazila on Dhaka-Chittagong highway here early yesterday.
Police and locals said the mishap occurred when the Dhaka-bound passenger bus from Chittagong skidded off the road and dashed a roadside tree at about 2:00am, leaving three passengers dead on the spot and 20 others injured.
Supervisor and helper of the ill-fated bus were among the deceased but their identities could not be known immediately.
