Three more camel jockeys return to their families
Three more children used as camel jockeys in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) returned to their families yesterday bringing the total number to 34.
Shahed, 16, Milon, 12, and Jewel, 11, all from Gazipur, were handed over to their parents by the officials of Bangladesh National Women Lawyers' Association (BNWLA).
The children had been staying at BNWLA shelter home upon their arrival in the country from Abu Dhabi since August 11.
The government in association with the United Nations Children's Fund is bringing them back.
So far 83 children returned home while more than 100 are still awaiting repatriation at three shelter homes in Abu Dhabi.
