TIB distributes prizes among winners
TIB organised the competitions to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day.
TIB Trustee Board Chairman Prof Muzaffer Ahmad gave away the prizes among the winners at the Women's Voluntary Association auditorium in the city.

Under group 'Ka', Nasreen Nahar Urmi of Brahmandi Girls' School in Narsingdi won the first prize while Marfia Afroze Sonia of Razakunnesa Girls' School and Afsarah Zaheen Surovi of Bhairab MP Girls' School shared the second position and Sazzad Mahmud of Chandpur Shahrasti Model School became third.
Under group 'Kha', Sanzida Irfan of Holy Cross College, Atiqul Islam Tonmoy of Mirzapur Cadet College and Sharmin Sobhan of Viquarunnisa Noon School and College bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively.
MM Awrangazeb Al Hossain of Salimullah Medical College won the first prize under group 'Ga'. Natasha Ishrat Kabir of Jahangirnagar University and Tanvir Ahmed Bhuiyan of Chittagong University jointly became second while Arafat Ali Siddiqui of Rajshahi University got the third prize.
The cartoon competition was divided into two categories -- group 'A' and 'B'. The winners are Mahdeenur Rahman, Masum Billal and Minara Akter from group 'A' and Sumon Wahed, Mamun Hossain and Arifur Rahman from group 'B'.
An exhibition of 60 selected cartoons is being held at Drik Gallery at Dhanmondi in the city. The exhibition that began on December 7 will end today.
To make the anti-corruption movement a success, TIB organises various programmes across the country through 36 conscious citizens' committees in the six divisions. The programmes include discussion, signature campaign, street rally, cycle rally, debate, drama, extempore speech competition and publication of leaflets and wall magazines.
TIB has also published a compilation of anti-corruption cartoons by famous cartoonists, book on debate competition, brochures, stickers and posters to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day.
