Time to deposit Hajj money extended

The intending ballotee Hajj pilgrims shall have to deposit money by October 16 and non-ballottees by October 31.

The ministry of religious affairs yesterday said all the intending pilgrims may collect the forms from Sonali, Rupali, Agroni, Janata, Pubali, Dhaka, Islami Bangladesh, Oriental, AL Arafa banks, City Bank, Krishi and Rajshahi Krishi Unayan Bank or Dhaka hajj office. They are to submit duly filled-in forms to respective administration offices by 16 October.

Deputy Commissioners will send forms to Dhaka Hajj office by October 18. Deputy Commissioner will also send the list of intending Hajj pilgrims to police supers/commissioners and chiefs of district medical boards for police clearance and medical examinations.
